Belbroughton Cricket Club Est 1863

A little bit about us...

Established in 1863, Belbroughton Cricket Club totally volunteer based and is set in the picturesque North Worcestershire countryside with views across the local village towards Clent Hills. The Club has a very active membership and has three Men's teams in the Worcestershire County League. We also enjoy participation in friendly fixtures which includes our Sunday X1 and 'Strollers' mid week matches. The Club prides itself on its well established Junior and Youth section including All Stars, Dynamos, Junior Age groups from U10 all the way up to U17's.

Belbroughton is quintessential English Village, north of Worcester with excellent commuter links and with a Village and Church at its Heart. Our younger membership is fed from surrounding pyramid Schools of which we have close links with. Throughout the season the Volunteer Members host a number of community events including our Nationally and Internatinally known Scarecrow Festival which coincides with the end of the season in September each year.

Belbroughton Cricket Club is dedicated to supporting cricket in every way possible for our members and cricketing community. We look for sponsorship in order to develop and improve our facilities and equipment and in turn provide a safe environment where cricket can be enjoyed at all levels. We have a current membership of approx 250 including some ex professionals and honorary lifetime members.

Over the last few years we have managed to fundraise to improve the inside of our Pavillion which is the heart of our Club. The next stage is to address the outside by replacing the roof and scoreboard together with an outside catering facility or extension to our current set up. On the pitch we are looking to extend our boundary netting, replace some aging sight screens and add to our training facilities with a roll on nets and a new bowling machine.

Every sponsor will enjoy an affliate membership to our club and will be welcome to enjoy the cricket, our hospitality and the best views in the village.
